What is TEDxChicago?

TEDxChicago has merged our efforts with TEDxMidwest – the leading TEDx event in the Chicagoland area. We encourage you to throw your full support and enthusiasm behind this wonderful effort.

How can I attend?

A total of 950 invited attendees will be at TEDxMidwest this year. If you are interested in attending TEDxMidwest please click here to submit your application online.

In order for TEDxMidwest to be great they need amazing people and companies from Chicago to step forward to volunteer and partner with them. If that describes you please reach out and join in!

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx (http://www.ted.com/tedx) is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxChicago, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxChicago event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
